HOW DOES EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE (EFT) WORK?
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), or "tapping," is a scientifically proven stress-reduction tool that combines elements of psychology—like cognitive and exposure therapy—with tapping on specific acupressure points. This unique combination has been shown to calm down the brain's stress response, help you feel calmer and think clearer.
There is plenty of research behind EFT. A groundbreaking 2020 study by Dr. Peta Stapleton at Bond University found that just one hour of tapping reduced cortisol—the body's primary stress hormone—by 43%.
Brain scans (fMRI) reveal real changes in brain activity after tapping, while key biological markers show improvements in heart rate variability, blood pressure, and immune function.
