A MESSAGE FROM DR KIRSTEN CLOETE
WE ARE LIVING IN UNPRECEDENTED TIMES
Rates of chronic stress, burnout, and employee disengagement are at an all-time high, and are becoming the silent performance killers of today’s workplace.
This isn’t just a personal wellbeing issue.
Chronic stress is directly linked to:
-
Reduced productivity
-
Impaired decision-making
-
Increased risk of costly mistakes
-
Lower team morale and engagement
-
Higher rates of absenteeism and staff turnover

THE STATISTICS ARE SHOCKING, AND SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES
When you consider:
-
1 in 4 people are projected to take time off work for stress-related issues in 2025
-
Chronic stress can reduce cognitive function by up to 40%
-
The cost of poor mental health in UK workplaces reached £102 billion in 2023
The message is clear:
Supporting your team’s ability to manage stress and pressure isn’t just beneficial...
It’s essential to protecting your business performance and profitability.
"ORGANISATIONS THAT INVEST IN EMPLOYEE RESILIENCE SEE MEASURABLE GAINS IN PERFORMANCE, RETENTION, AND PROFITABILITY" — DELOITTE

THE SOLUTION? SUPPORT YOUR TEAM'S RESILLIENCE
To improve productivity, performance, and retention, your team needs more than another wellness webinar.
They need tools that address stress at its root—the nervous system.
The ZONE Method does exactly that, using science-backed, body-based techniques to help your team:
-
Break out of stress loops in real time, instead of staying stuck in overwhelm
-
Handle pressure with more ease and control
-
Feel clear-headed, focused, and energised, even on demanding days
"COMPANIES THAT PRIORITISE EMPLOYEE RESILIENCE OUTPERFORM THEIR PEERS WITH HIGHER PRODUCTIVITY AND SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER TURNOVER" — MCKINSEY
IT'S MONDAY MORNING AND YOU'RE LOGGING IN FOR THE DAY
Your coffee is made, your calendar is open, and you’re staring at the week ahead.
But instead of feeling inspired, motivated, and creative, you feel drained. Heavy. Like you've lost your spark before the day has even begun.
You glance over at your team and they look equally as stressed, if not more. No one says it out loud, but it’s in the air. The pressure. The fatigue. The silent overwhelm.
As the day unfolds...
You’re jumping between tasks, but nothing’s sticking. You open a doc, start writing, stop. You check your phone, then your inbox, then Messenger. Your brain feels scrambled, like you have 50 tabs open in your mind but none of them are loading properly.
That important presentation? You know it’s a priority, and people are waiting on you, but you can’t seem to start. You keep procrastinating, finding yet another reason why you’ll ‘just do it later’.
You catch yourself snapping at a colleague and immediately regret it—this isn't how you want to show up. You apologise.
Creative thinking feels like wading through mud. You used to be sharp, innovative, intuitive. Now even simple decisions feel like a slog.
It's only 10am, and you're already on your third coffee. Caffeine and sugar feel like a lifeline these days.

LATER THAT EVENING...
You collapse onto the sofa.
You notice the ache in your shoulders, the tension in your jaw. You didn’t even realise you’d been clenching it all day.
You cancelled your workout again. You meant to go, but your body said no. And truthfully, you’re wondering why you’re even keeping that expensive gym membership when motivation left the building months ago.
Dinner feels like a mountain to climb. You can’t even decide what to eat.
You’re replaying that moment from today’s leadership meeting—seven pairs of eyes on you, expecting clarity and direction. And yet, you froze. You fumbled. You’re still cringing. A quiet doubt creeps in: “Am I really even the right person for this role?”
You scroll your phone to numb the thoughts. You pick up a book for a moment and start reading, but your attention won’t hold.
Your nervous system feels wired. Eventually, you fall asleep—but you wake up still tired.
Another day ahead. Same cycle. And if you’re really honest… The work that used to light you up, just doesn’t anymore.
Somewhere along the line you lost the joy. The drive. The part of you that used to thrive in the challenge.
You're starting to wonder if feeling this way is just your ‘new normal’?
IF YOU RESONATE WITH ANY OF THIS, YOU'RE EXPERIENCING THE MENTAL, PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL SYMPTOMS OF CHRONIC STRESS, EVEN IF YOU DON'T CONSCIOUSLY FEEL STRESSED.

YOU'VE TRIED EVERYTHING THE "BUSINESS EXPERTS" RECOMMEND
✓ Pushing through and working harder
✓ Putting in longer hours with the promise that things will improve
✓ Time management strategies
✓ Trying to encourage (force) 'positive thinking' but your team see straight through you
✓ Traditional coaching approaches that focus on mindset changes but completely ignore the role of the body
AND IT'S EXHAUSTING BECAUSE YOU AND YOUR TEAM ARE
✓ Running on empty
✓ Experiencing a lack of morale, motivation and results
✓ Failing to hit deadlines or financial milestones
✓ Aren't experiencing any real changes or improvements
✓ Don’t know how to improve the situation
✓ Questioning yourself as a leader
✓ Thinking about throwing the towel in

WHAT IF THERE WAS A WAY TO FEEL CALM AND STILL REACH YOUR FULL POTENTIAL?
What if you didn’t need to push through, work harder or put in longer hours?
What if the key to better focus, sharper thinking and performing better under pressure wasn’t in another productivity hack or mindset trick, but in harnessing the advanced system you already have unlimited access to—your own nervous system?
Here’s the truth. Your struggles aren’t because you’re not trying hard enough, don’t have what it takes, or can’t handle the pressure. They’re happening because no one has ever taught you how to work with and optimise the one system that is in control of EVERYTHING —your ability to handle pressure, remain focused, engage openly with others, perform under stress and think creatively.
Right now, your nervous system is stuck in survival mode. It’s impossible to think your way out of survival mode. This is because survival mode is not in your head, it’s actually in your body.
And in order to move through and out of survival mode, you need to use the body to show the mind that you are safe.

“TRYING TO THINK CLEARLY WHEN YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM IS STUCK IN SURVIVAL MODE IS LIKE TRYING TO DRIVE A CAR AT HIGH SPEED WITH THE HANDBRAKE ON. IT’S EXHAUSTING, INEFFICIENT AND UNSUSTAINABLE.”

THIS ISN'T JUST ANOTHER STRESS MANAGEMENT STRATEGY
This is approaching stress and performance from a whole different angle. One that works with your humanness and optimises that.
The old approach doesn’t work. We are more stressed than ever.
The latest statistics now say that almost 60% of the UK workforce are on the verge of burnout.
And a burnt out team does definitely not equal a creative and productive team.
We can’t keep doing the same thing and expecting different results. It’s time to start learning to work with your master control centre.
Your nervous system.
MOST CORPORATE TRAININGS GIVE YOU:
✗ Mindset and positivity "hacks" — but it's impossible to "out-think stress" when your body is in fight-or-flight mode
✗ Time management strategies — but even the best productivity hacks won’t help if your body and mind are in stress mode.
✗ Ideas of how to deal with stress better — but with no real support on how to actually integrate any of it into your daily routine.
✗ Lengthy morning routines or complex strategies that no one has time for and only further contribute to burnout — vs. simple, implementable tools that get lasting, effective results.
THE ZONE METHOD GIVES YOU:
✓ Immediate improvements in your mood and energy levels
✓ Simple and easy to implement tools
✓Deeper and longer lasting results

£102B
The cost of poor mental health in the workplace to the UK economy (2023) = £102 billion!!
In 2019, Burnout was in the 11th Revision of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) as an occupational phenomenon. This was pre-pandemic and cases of burnout continue to rise. It’s determined that 1 in 4 people will be signed off for sick leave. That’s a QUARTER of your team, office and business.

KIND WORDS FROM CLIENTS
MOST TEAMS & LEADERS DON'T REACH THEIR POTENTIAL, BUT YOU WILL
Businesses don’t burn out, people do.
Most businesses invest a lot of time and money in strategy sessions, training programmes, leadership courses etc. and all with good intention. But most businesses fail to invest in the number one driver of their team’s ability to produce consistently good work under pressure - their nervous system.
And let’s face it. Life is stressful. The competition is fierce. Absenteeism and employee disengagement are at an all-time high. And it’s costing your company. Big time.
But you are different. You recognise the fact that without a team that cannot only cope, but perform well under pressure, you really are fighting a losing battle.
And that by investing in your team’s nervous system health, you are setting yourself apart.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF
✓ You're a trailblazer who likes staying ahead of the curve
✓ You believe your team's wellbeing is key to business success
✓ You’re done with all-talk, no-action programmes and seek innovative, effective solutions
✓ You’re interested in science and research-based approaches but are also open-minded to alternative methods
✓ You’re a leader who knows there must be a better way to handle workplace stress—but you don’t know where to begin
THIS ISN'T FOR YOU IF
✗ You have no interest in being a pioneer of your industry
✗ You prioritize £££ over your team's wellbeing, even though a healthy, resilient team drives financial success
✗ You’d rather stick with the status quo, even if your team are on the path to burnout
✗ You think bringing brain-body methods into a business course is nonsense
✗ You’re not willing to try something new and expect your team to keep pushing through
HI, I'M KIRSTEN
I've always been fascinated by the powerful connection between the brain and the body. When I began my career as a chiropractor over 16 years ago, my focus was initially on helping people heal physically—from injuries, chronic pain, and later specialising in concussion and head trauma.
But I was noticing something deeper: many patients weren’t just dealing with physical injuries; their stress and emotions were manifesting as physical symptoms, affecting their recovery and performance.
This realisation, combined with my own personal experience of intense stress and near-burnout, set me on a journey of finding real solutions.
That's when I discovered somatic (body-based) techniques, such as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and intentional breathing practices, which completely transformed how I felt, performed, and approached my life.
Today, I take this work beyond the clinic, helping professionals and teams master their stress response, build resilience, and perform at their best—by teaching them how to harness the power of their own, perfectly designed and highly adaptive nervous system.
I’m here to help you and your team unlock peak performance through practical, neuroscience-backed tools.
Because businesses don’t burn out, people do.

What are the common symptoms of a concussion?Concussion symptoms can vary but commonly include headaches, dizziness, nausea, confusion, memory problems, sensitivity to light or noise, fatigue, and mood changes. Some people may also experience blurred vision, ringing in the ears, or difficulty concentrating. Symptoms can appear immediately or develop hours to days after the injury.
-
Can I claim these sessions through my health insurance? You’ll need to check with your insurance provider to see if they cover Cranio Fascial Dynamics (CFD) sessions. While my background is in Chiropractic, I’m no longer registered with the General Chiropractic Council in the UK. However, I am insured by Balens as a CFD practitioner.
-
How is a concussion diagnosed?Concussions are typically diagnosed based on a combination of symptom assessment, medical history, and physical examination. Neurological tests may be conducted to evaluate balance, coordination, and cognitive function. In some cases, imaging tests like MRI or CT scans are used to rule out more serious brain injuries, though they may not always show a concussion.
-
Do you see children in the clinic?Yes. In fact children and adolescents are more susceptible to concussions as the bones in their skulls are still maturing. Their developing brains are more vulnerable to injury, so it's important to monitor them closely for symptoms and follow strict guidelines for rest and recovery.
-
What is a concussion and how does it occur?A concussion is a form of traumatic brain injury that happens when a sudden impact or jolt causes the brain to move rapidly within the skull. This can result from a variety of incidents, such as a blow to the head, a fall, or any forceful movement that shakes the brain. I've treated patients who have suffered concussions from a wide range of situations, including a suitcase falling on their head, a fall down the stairs, children taking a hard fall on the playground, boxes dropping from the loft, falling off ladders, bicycle and scooter accidents, and sports-related injuries like those from rugby, boxing, and football.
-
I didn’t pass out when I got injured. Could I have still sustained a concussion?Yes. You do not need to lose consciousness to be diagnosed with a concussion. In fact, most concussions do not involve a loss of consciousness. Concussions are diagnosed based on a variety of symptoms, including headaches, dizziness, confusion, and memory issues.
-
Where can I visit you?My primary practice is at the Oxford Concussion Clinic. If you’re dealing with post-concussion syndrome and would like to schedule an appointment in London, please send me an email.
-
How long does it take to recover? As with any injury, recovery time from a concussion can vary widely depending on the severity of the injury and individual factors such as health history and current health status as well as other lifestyle factors. Sometimes patients can start feeling better after just a couple of sessions, other times it can take longer.
-
Can workshops take place online?Yes, workshops can be conducted at your office if you’re a London-based company, or online in a webinar format, offering flexibility for those based elsewhere or preferring a virtual option.
-
Can the workshop be customized to address specific challenges our company is facing?Absolutely. The content of the workshop can be tailored to address specific challenges your team may be encountering, ensuring the session is relevant and impactful.
-
What are the benefits of incorporating stress management into the workplace?Stress and mental health issues are leading causes of absenteeism, with 1 in 5 UK workers needing time off due to stress in 2024. By proactively providing employees with effective stress management tools and support, companies can improve employee well-being, boost productivity and team morale, and cultivate a more positive work environment.
-
How long does the workshop typically last? The workshop duration is flexible and can be tailored to your company’s needs, typically lasting 1.5 to 2 hours. Workshops can be standalone sessions or integrated into broader wellness events, working alongside other professionals as part of your team’s wellness day.
-
What topics are covered in your workshops? We begin by exploring the science behind stress, including the Nervous System's survival response and common symptoms that you may experience. We then explore the powerful Mind-Body connection, understanding how Mental, Physical, and Emotional stress are all linked. We also address the role of the subconscious mind, to understand how past experiences and long-standing beliefs play a role in our individual response to stress. Participants will learn the latest research on how stress is stored in the body and why somatic (body-based) techniques play a major role in helping us to release stress and increase our resilience. I’ll then introduce you to some powerful, science-backed tools like Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Breathwork and Progressive Muscle Relaxation, that you can begin to use and benefit from immediately.
-
What is the cost of the workshop? The cost varies depending on the length, level of customization, and the number of participants. I offer a range of packages to fit different budgets and am happy to discuss options that meet your company’s specific needs.
-
What makes your workshop different from other stress-management workshops? My workshop is unique in its holistic approach, which goes beyond traditional stress management by addressing the powerful mind-body connection. Recognizing that stress is not only held in the mind but also experienced in the physical body, participants gain both theoretical knowledge and practical, evidence-based tools like EFT, Breathwork and Progressive Muscle Relaxation, which they can immediately apply. The highly interactive and personalized nature of the workshop ensures that each participant leaves with a tailored toolkit suited to their unique needs, leading to long-term effectiveness and tangible improvements in both individual well-being and overall workplace productivity.
-
How many participants can attend each workshop?Workshops can be tailored to accommodate various group sizes, from small teams of 10-15 participants for a more intimate experience to larger groups of up to 50 participants, depending on your company’s needs.
-
How does Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) work?Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a proven method for rewiring thought patterns, behaviors, and habits, developed in the 1970s to study how highly successful people think and communicate. It helps people shift limiting beliefs, break unhelpful habits, and reprogram their subconscious for success. In my coaching, I use NLP techniques to help clients change how they see themselves, build confidence, and create new, more empowering patterns that support their goals. Whether it’s breaking a habit of procrastinating, improving focus, or becoming a more confident leader, NLP helps people perform at a higher level by shifting the way they think, feel, and act, both at work and in life.
-

This is an opportunity to ask any questions, and we can discuss how The ZONE Method will be tailored to address specific challenges you and your team may be encountering.
-
Can these methods really help with burnout?Absolutely. Burnout is a physiological state caused by chronic stress. By learning how to actively regulate your nervous system, you can directly reduce burnout risk, restore your energy, and feel consistently clearer and more focused.
-
What is Breathwork?Even though breathing is something that is automatic, learning how to use your breath intentionally is a powerful tool for regulating the nervous system and turning off the stress response. The way we breathe sends direct signals to the brain about whether we’re safe or in danger. By slowing and controlling our breath, we can shift from a stressed state (fight-or-flight) to a calm, focused one in real time. Breathwork works by changing the levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the bloodstream, which feeds information back to the brain about our current state. This makes it an incredibly effective way to calm yourself down during a stressful meeting, refocus between tasks, or reset your nervous system throughout the day. When used strategically, the way you breathe can become a tool for performance, resilience, and clarity.
-
Is there personal support available if I/ a member of my team wants extra guidance?Yes. Optional personalised 1:1 support and additional group coaching sessions are available if you/ a member of your team would like extra guidance, accountability, or deeper support.
-
What are the benefits of The ZONE Method? In just 4 weeks, you’ll have at your fingertips, a completely new way to handle stress and pressure. More importantly, you’ll walk away feeling empowered—able to manage your thoughts, understand what your body is telling you, and know exactly what to do to reset and perform at your best.
-
How quickly will I/ my team start seeing results? Many participants start noticing improvements almost immediately, such as feeling calmer, clearer, and more energised. Consistency amplifies these benefits, resulting in lasting resilience, focus, and performance.
-
Do you offer in-person sessions?I currently only run The ZONE Method group course online. -
I’ve never done this type of work before, how do I know it’s right for me or my team? We’re living in a time where chronic stress and burnout are at an all-time high. Absenteeism, turnover, and disengagement are costing businesses millions. We need smarter solutions. Right now, 1 in 4 of your team members is likely to be signed off for sick leave this year due to chronic stress. That’s not just a personal issue—it’s a business issue. If you want a team that is focused, energised, and performing at their best, even under pressure, this program is for you. If you want people who can stay calm in high-stakes situations, make clear decisions, communicate effectively, and recover quickly from stress instead of carrying it with them all day, this program is for you. Because even with all the AI advancements and the rate at which the world is changing, businesses are still made up of people. And businesses don’t burn out. People do. It’s time to invest in your people in a way that makes sense for them and for your business.
-
Do I/ my team need any prior knowledge about neuroscience or physiology? Not at all! Everything is explained in clear, easy-to-understand language, with no previous knowledge required. This course makes the science practical, approachable, and immediately usable.

Where do the sessions take place and how do you work with different time zones? All live sessions take place online via Zoom, making it easy to join from anywhere in the world. To accommodate different time zones, I offer multiple session times where possible, and recordings are always available if you can’t attend live.
-
How does Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) work?.Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), or "tapping," is a scientifically proven stress-reduction tool that combines elements of psychology—like cognitive and exposure therapy—with tapping on specific acupressure points. This unique combination has been shown to calm down the brain's stress response, help you feel calmer and think clearer. There is plenty of research behind EFT. A groundbreaking 2020 study by Dr. Peta Stapleton at Bond University found that just one hour of tapping reduced cortisol—the body's primary stress hormone—by 43%. Brain scans (fMRI) reveal real changes in brain activity after tapping, while key biological markers show improvements in heart rate variability, blood pressure, and immune function.
-
What methods do you use in your coaching?.I use a combination of techniques in my coaching, in the style of what is known as ‘Transformational Coaching’. I meet you where you’re at, and together we will map out where you are now, where you’d like to be. Using techniques including Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), breathwork as well as mental rehearsal, progressive muscle relaxation (PMR) and journaling, help you identify and make changes to deep-rooted patterns, beliefs, and emotional blocks that may be holding you back from feeling and performing at your best. Drawing on my years of clinical experience working with clients from all over the globe and from all walks of life, I bring a science-backed yet deeply practical approach to our time together, empowering you with the tools you need to move forward with clarity and confidence.
